Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hi, since the dev of Dolphindroid isn't active anymore, I forked the Dolphindroid application and add some enhancement to it. 

It is still experimental but it is usable. The games tested are Wii Sports (Tennis & Baseball), Mario Kart, Super Paper Mario and Just Dance games (2014 - 2017).

To start with.., You need a custom build of Dolphin/Ishiiruka or the old Wiispeak branch to use this UDPMote.

You need to setup manually since the modified builds don't have interface to the UDP Config



UDPMote has two modes (layout), Upright and Sideways.

Upright preview:


The Upright mode has acceleration mode (you can use any of those 4 to enhance or lower the acceleration). The default acceleration setting is M3.
The switch button is for changing layouts. The joystick is for D-pad, the blank space is for IR gesture.

Sideways preview:


The Sideways mode has a switch for 4-way/8-way for the joystick, and also an IR gesture in the middle.


I tested this on a 5" Android 6.0, with 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Quick Update:

Added Just Dance Compatibility checkbox. It seems that some Just Dance Games have a very strict orientation on how you hold the Wii Remote. This option makes the front of your phone like the palm in your hand in the game, just the way you hold the Wii remote. Example game with strict orientation is Michael_Jackson:_The_Experience.

Removed the Max option in the acceleration mode (M3 is the highest, M1 is the lowest).

Thats great app and all but im looking forward to playing New(er) Super mario bros wii and the joystick isnt really good for that, sometimes it glitches and goes opposite direction, so i am advising you to make a separate app or an option for dpad and make a landscape option that works(up in potrait is up, up in landscape is right and so on, it doesent change joystick orientation when i change to landscape)

I think it would be really cool to see this functionality added to the dolphin for android app.

I am trying to play Zelda Skyword Sword and I can't get the Motion or Wii U (UDP) to work cause it keeps asking for Nunchuck?? How do I fix this. It works fine for Mario Kart but not Zelda

Sorry but the UDPMote dont have emulated MotionPlus...
