Everytime i try to open an iso i get an error message thay says Panic alert: could not start the game because the Gc ipl could not be found. After i recieve this error the entire app crashes and this happens upon loading in a game. Any help or time spent would be appreciated thank you!
The solution for now is to enable Skip Main Menu in Config > GameCube, though we're probably going to need to make some changes to how this works...

EDIT: Sorry, I missed the fact that this is in the Android forum. You'll need to set HLE_BS2 (under [Core]) in Dolphin.ini to True. We are aware that this isn't an ideal thing to need to do.

If you are on a non-rooted Android, can you edit Dolphin.ini ?
AFAIK, yes. That file should be in the Dolphin folder, inside your Internal Storage...

I figured it out. Just as said above. You can find dolphin.ini in the dolphin-emu>Config folder after connecting your device with a USB. Open it as a text file and scroll down to find [Core] heading and change HLE_BS2 = False into HLE_BS2 = True.
This worked perfectly.

Hello everybody,

I too have down loaded and installed the latest version of the android dolpin on a nvidia shield tv pro. Looked at three or four setup guides and set it all up. Whe I try to run a fame I get the same GC IPL error and black screen. I have opened up the ini file and under cores the above mentioned isnt there. I have tried all the settings went back amd forth through the ini file and not once Can I get the HLE_BS2 option under cores to show up so i can chane it to true. I have also copied and pasted in the ini file in every possible place and Nothing. It just doesnt exsist. Any help would bengreat!
5.0-4302 has renamed the setting to SkipIPL and enabled it by default, so there should be no need to edit INI files anymore after updating to that version.
