Hello Dolphin Support, I'm talking to you because I need help. I can't play with friends on netplay, the ***** desync always happens at a certain time.
I'll leave you some information:

* I've deleted my dolphin folder and I've used the settings that appear here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Netplay_Guide
* I've turned off "wiimotes" and so did my friend.
* I've turned off my memory card and so did my friend.
* My friend and I have the same config / graphics and we have the same version of Dolphin (5.0)
* Framelimiter is 100%
* My ping is 0 ms, my friend ping is 5ms.
* My internet is wired (Not wifi) and it's fast enough (he has 5 ms. I've got 100mb of internet, optical fiber.) so internet connection is not the problem
* My computer is decent (I wrote my PC specs when I signed up on Dolphin so you can see it)
* We didn't activate any cheats or action replays.
* At least for now, we didn't notice any FPS drop on our games.

Please Dolphin Support help me with this, I want to play with my friends but the desync f*cks us very hard.

Greetings and thank you Smile
What game are you trying to play via netplay? Have you tried disabling dual core on both systems? That's the setting that is most likely causing problems for netplay.

I'm trying to play Mario Kart Double Dash, but Super Smash Bros Melee desynced too.

No, I haven't disabled dual core, I'll try it and I'll make you know if it worked.

Thank you btw Tongue

Well, It didn't work. My friend and I disabled dual core but desync also happened.

I don't know what else to do with this sh1t  Sad Sad Undecided Undecided

What could be the problem? Is THAT hard to play netplay without problems T.T ?
For netplay it's easiest to make a copy of the folder that has dolphin.exe and add a portable.txt to the same directory.

Please don't suggest that without explaining what it does. It's going to undo setting single core and a bunch of other important things.

Woot wot wot? Step by step please.

Portable.txt ??? what?
Create a blank text file called Portable.txt and save it in the same directory you have your Dolphin .exe

Well I did it. What do I need to do after that?

EDIT: It worked because I didn't get desync (only on mario kart double dash, super smash bros melee desynced)
BUT!!!!... I cannot play with my liked  controls, graphics and I cannot activate neither AR or GECKO codes to unlock everything. I think it's a weird solution because it doesn't let you edit anything :S
Make sure you both made a portable.txt, and do you mean any changes are not saved? Make sure you aren't running dolphin from program files or something.
