Ah, I was unfortunate enough to buy my card from diamond multimedia, and it's an extreme hassle to find drivers that actually don't crash my display...
Especially considering they've discontinued support for the card in '06 and they're AGP... but I managed to find some last night.

Yeah only took 3 hours of nonstop forum scrounging action.

wow they must be really hard to find. I've never even heard of them.
