Hello, I'm still searching for a way to have my controller (Gamesir G3S) working in Xinput mode like a regular Xbox 360 controller (it works in every game and emulator except Dolphin)
At least the controller work in Dinput mode but I don't have rumbles and analog triggers working correctly so I'm searching a fix, I want to play some F-Zero and things

I've seen some posts on this forum and reddit about the problem but the bug seems still unknown, a bugfix isn't planned at all ?
Thank you !
No one have the same bug with the same or a similar controller ?

I don't have any problem with any game or emulator so if it's not from Dolphin I don't know what should I fix

Have you tried another controller on your Dolphin PC? How does that fare?
This is a known bug with the g3 controllers. Its the driver's that the g3 comes with. I have one as well. There is currently no fix. You just have to use another controller

I already tried some PC controllers like Thrusmaster Dual Analog 3 and 4, but they don't have analog triggers, but the buttons works as expected

Great, thank you for the reply !!
I've actually just got a G3S that I now use for Geometry Wars: Galaxies. Funnily enough, I bought it on the day that you made your first post and my heart sunk a little...
Though the controller isn't 100% compatible with Dolphin the analogue sticks and triggers work. As do some of the buttons.
If you go into your controller settings and push the button you'll see little red boxes light up that represent the inputs that Dolphin recognises.
I can't remember off the top of my head all the buttons but both sticks, triggers, shoulder buttons and d pad are definitely recognised. I think the Start button and one other face button is also recognised. With those ones working I'm sure you could set a configuration that will suit F-Zero GX, at least.

I'm a bit late, but I just want to say that the problem seems to be how Dolphin detects input. The solution is to put the Gamesir G3s into D-Input mode. Plug in the wireless adapter first if you want to use this wireless. Press and hold the Gamesir logo button with the "A" button. This will light up the android icon. If you want to use this wired just plug in the cable after you put it in D-Input mode.
Now go into dolphin controller setting, set it to "DInput/0/Gamesir-G3v 1.00" in the key mapping window and then map all the keys to what you want.
