I cant remember doing anything with the "Disable Material Lighting" though. what does that do?. also wanted to ask do you get screeching sound on stages with HLE? maybe i need to upgrade to 4628. and yeah there is no need for the projection hacks anymore.

I'm not exactly sure what it does, but the video quality of the game doesn't degrade at all. The game looks the same with it off as it did with it on (from what I noticed anyway).

The audio was also fine, during Adventure mode at least. I had some screeching/audio problems with the 4620 build, but when I switched to 4628, the audio problems seem to have went away.

I'm not sure how well this tweak works later on in the game though, because unfortunately I got a deysnc'd wiimote error, and the game crashed before I was able to complete stage 1-1.

hey dude, just an ideia.try unchecking "use panic handlers". this options is causing wii mote desync on nsmb when it's checked.
i'll test this game when i found my dvd and see what i'll get.

Thanks, that seems to have fixed the desyncing wiimote problem in this game too. Was able to get through stages 1-1, 1-2, and 1-3 without crashing to a wiimote error.

Although I haven't played through the entire game yet (just got to stage 2), it seems that it's 100% playable at full speed, without any problems (audio or otherwise). I was having some audio problems when I had the frame limiter set to "auto", but when I turned the frame limiter thing off, the audio problems went away.
Hey
It's me again!
Tested here and works really well guys with 4628!
Without framelimit i've got always more than 100fps with no sound and graphic Problems!
EDIT:
well in 4628 build, when you pass the first stage (1-1) and go to 1-2, starts some annoying noise!!
tested in the 4630 build by Orleans and that sound problem is gone! working perfectly with anisotropic filter 16x and antialias 16xQCSAA ,force lienar filter and v-sync checked!

some attachments screenshots in game just to show:

are you using wiimote?
diegodolphin. keep playing you will notice that the sound prob always comes back. Its there when your playing stages with other special effects going on. very annoying screeching sound but good progress for the game. later version haven't really made any sound changes really.
you can sort fix it if you enable loop audio on hle dsp option but that shuts some of the sound effects and makes the game hang at certain point like the title.

oh reallyHuh that's bad.
hope they fix it soon and keep coming more progress.
when "loop audio" "re0 audio" are enable on 4628, the things get worse. i'll try on 4630 that i'm using now.Sounds looks perfect without that noise untill now (stage 1-2)
i'll keep playin' to see if that's gonna happen and post here. thanks for the reply.

Sorry, I probably should've mentioned the games region code too.

I have the NTSC-U version of the game. That might be why I wasn't having any problems while you still were (since you're using the PAL version of the game), even when you were using the same settings as me.

I was also able to play the game from start to finish in one sitting, without any crashes or audio problems (even when the screen was starting to get really heavy with the special effects, I still didn't have any issues with the audio). So those audio problems you experienced in the game might be a PAL-exclusive issue maybe. Do you have frame limiter on or off? When I had frame limiter on, I had some audio issues, but when I turned it off, the audio issues went away.
i have the frame limiter off here, i noticed yesterday when it was enable i was getting some audio issues.
but when i deseable that, i got super speed issue, making the gameplay impossible.so i made some adjusts in the settings( those i've posted up there) and the game is perfect. i didn't have time to play more yet, but i finished the first level and start the second without problems using those settings.
mmmm...
the keyboard and wimote no work in the new version 4631...
imposible save the first save state
use the Pal version
