Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

I want upgrade my PC to a Ryzen rig, but i dont know about the real performance in Dolphin with a R5 1600X in stock.
Actually i have a i5-4690 (get 417 in benchmark), and is a good CPU for emulation.
My question is: The Ryzen is lower or better than a Haswell i5-4690 in Dolphin speed with unlimited FPS and if the games can be emulated without problems?

At stock speed R7 1700 is slower than Haswell clock for clock. However if you overclock it to 4.0GHz , it will be as fast as your current cpu in dolphin
Turbo Core isn't useful at all , you should disable it if you're willing to buy Ryzen
I would wait for Ryzen second gen if i was you
