Hey, so i recently started playing Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, and i noticed that when paper would move in certain ways, my fps would drop massively. I read somewhere that switching to Direct3D solves the problem, but when i go to switch to Direct3D, its greyed out, with text saying OpenGL. Why won't it let me switch off OpenGL?
Are your graphics drivers up to date? That's the only reason I can think of that would cause something like that...

Also your profile says you're using 4.0. You should definitely upgrade to 5.0 or the preferably the latest development builds. Smile

Yeah i update my drivers pretty regularly, but i'll definitely upgrade to 5.0

EDIT: I also just got version 5.0, issue is still present.
You can only switch back-ends when the game is not running.
