its my own device ...i have to said that for me it is totally worth it to buy the s8 plus to play re4 or nfs carbon, because in comparison with the switch, you can do A LOT and what i said A LOT IS A LOT, the vr headset is amazing...the dex station is a computer on the go, and at the top...i mean man,...im the happys man in the world... im playing my childhood games in a phone ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ WITH GREAT FPS¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ i mean is far to be perfect, but it is just as enjoyble as it was...the little child in me love it, btw, the video was focused to latinamerica audience, cuz im basically a pioneer in the spanish forums, it is something really exotic to see

i want to said that is an honor to talk with you, amm the history is different this time helios , maybe im a noob in terms of game cube emulation, but i certainly can said that im geek in terms of android devices , the galaxy s8 is by far the most impressive devices i have ever used in terms of performance ..graphic performance , of course there is slow downs, but it is far to be unplayable, the game is super playable and actually really enjoyable 5 days ago i dont even was capable to understand how to use dolphin...so , i made a new video where i show re 4 running in 720p ..better than in the classic cube (prove of bad optimization, which means it can be tweaked) i truly want to aport to the community sharing my gameplays and config... and am sorry because the language , cuz the gameplay was not thinked to be show out of the spanish dolphin forums , my final thoughs ? it is totally worth it... i have the switch and i prefered million times more the s8 plus... i have unextendable frame drops on the switch ...breath of the wild, the age of portable consoles is over FOR ME , maybe everyone else has other thoughts which are totally respectables , this smartphones are getting to powerful , and i can understand why some red bone gamers of nintendo hate them so much... not because the device is bad...but , because what represent... an all in one which is capable to do anything... even replace other i"N"ferior device"S", nothing else to said,...the s8 plus in mexico cost around 1100, 750 ? haha i which it was the price for me

There some discussion in another forum that the dolphin emulator is only a "5-10 minutes" wonder on the Samsung s8. The reason is that after 10 minutes or so, there is throttling and the games begin to stutter. Is this true? How long can you play your games before they begin to stutter? Or, do you NOT experience any throttle at all?

No regrets. All classic PC games + few emulators in your pocket
As I see, the most powerful GPD is the Win with Atom CPU and HD Graphics GPU. Its performance is yet under chips like SD 820, but at least it has Windows, you can play classic games and any emulator (even it's slower).

Plus you can play using DirectX backend that mean full speed for many games.

I have a GPD win and I can say with confidence that my Snapdragon 821 device is faster in most games.
I have tried many versions of dolphin too including many ishiiruka Direct X 12 versions.
Now once Vulkan is supported on the GPD Win then the tides will turn greatly but until then .......
Remember that the OpenGL on Dolphin is better than DirectX, at least for who has card with good OpenGL drivers (NVIDIA). The biggest point of this device, as I said, is that you can play classic and recent games natively, and use emulators only for few exclusives. I would buy one of these just to play Skyrim anywhere, lol.
Also some pcsx2 (ps2 emu) games are fully playable.

All lies ...I play re4 for over 4 hours with not even heat on the device ...actually it produce much more heat to use chrome than re4... that's because the emulator is not using the phone full potential , using all the potential it will produce an increase in temperature but theoretical 2k rendering antialiasing ,large pixel collider ,etc
