FYI all,
I'm getting a nice little performance boost with the new windows 10 creators update.
Here is the link to update your windows 10 today:

and accessing game mode is a little convoluted:
open dolphin,
hit windows button + g
click the options cog and check "game mode"

I use to get a few stutters in f-zero gx, but it's running much better now!
Curious, how much better? What are your specs?

Can you benchmark windowed vs fullscreen mode? Also test borderless fullscreen?
That's good to hear, normally I don't update Windows, I might be persuaded to change that policy.

hmmm... I'll see when I get home, I only play fullscreen on a low end alienware:

Using windows 1703 when actived game mode and exit emulator crash explorer and make then unstable.
Need to logout windows and relogin to fix.

Note using game mode i gain more FPS

I try it usando dx11,12 and openGL the results are same
I using pp shaders i try without pp sahders
Does this happen in the most recent Dolphin 5.0 dev build?
In my case I got a lot of stutter on non game mode (dolphin still shows 60fps and 100% vps but you can notice stutter everywhere, tested on new super mario). Didnt have this kind of stutter prior to creators update.

Will try game mode.
Shadercache was probably invalidated. Can you replay same section?
hi. Yes, lag still there, doesnt seem cache related. Will test more.
