I don't think you understand this feature at all.

And if you do and still think that, uh, thanks for your concern I guess but you clearly misunderstand the legal implications here, or lack thereof

Please read my previous post again but this time with your brain, and keep it on for this:

Once again: Nintendo do not aproves Dolphin at all. You're killing their buisness. They hate you. Got it ?

"We're not selling anything" : That is not the problem.

"We're literally just making a connection to NINTENDO'S eShop" : The problem is here. You are lauching a comercial server from an "unknown" external source not aproved by Nintendo to make cross-buy without their consent.

I don't know if Nintendo is as kind as Microsoft (irony) to let this happens.

You're not dealing with Kirby here,
but with Nintendo.
Literally the only thing this could possibly do is give Nintendo more money. Also, the Wii is long dead--I don't think they really care at this point. Please stop making an ass of yourself.
hmmm...

Picture this, you're Nintendo, and all of a sudden, people who may not have been paying money for your games before, suddenly have that ability to pay for your games and more than likely will

Would you be complaining about that? No!

This is without going into the fact that there is nothing illegal about what's being done, nor the fact that you need to own/have access to a real Wii in order to pull this off.

I really don't get the issues here

EDIT: Commercial? How is this in any way commercial! There is literally no way for dolphin to make any money out of this! At all!

So you mean you can only access it with a real wii and not the last Dolphin revision ? so what's the point ?

No, you need specific files that can only be obtained by extracting them from a real Wii's internal memory. This allows dolphin to basically fake that real Wii.
gonna test it now and delete the thread if i can't access it.
