The setting "Hybrid Wii Remote" is supposed to let you do this, but it doesn't work well. I can't remember if anyone has managed to make it work at all lately.

No cursor on screen: Yes you need a sensor bar. (or 2 candles to point at)
Moving cursor with mouse: Yes you could try hybrid wiimote but I heard it sort of is a buggy mess.
passthrought doesnt let me select hybrid mode
is there are method that i can select hybrid wiimote with passthrough?
