So I use ds4 windows to hook up my controller to my pc and it used to work a while back but when my controller is hooked up and connected now, my dolphin wont emit any audio??

Right click on the volume icon in system tray > Playback devices > Right click on your main sound device > Set default. Might need to restart Dolphin after.
when you connect DS4 it creates a new sound device because it supports the headphone jack and sometimes it gets set to default in Windows.
