then go to the city and receive permission to enter that castle
It will take 1 hour or so

OK I actually wanted to play that game eventually so I'll check it out tonight.
Nobody liked my idea of trying Dolphin in Windows 7 and/or Linux?  Sad

Well if you want to try games, then you might as well try your hand at the Wind Waker benchmark:

Can you also test TP, both galaxy games and xenoblade?

Got you tonight. I'm going to be here at work mapping out controls so I can actually enjoy benchmarking them lol.

Especially this scene
Inside the castle: (Show Spoiler)
Or when you fight with overlords (big monsters like dragon queen, black and white dragon...) . The FPS will drop dramatically but as long as you use low IR like 1x or 2x (internal resolution) , you can probably make it run full speed again
Higher IR = Higher CPU requirement + Higher GPU requirement
I think you should start with 3xIR at least

For Example, Metroid Trilogy is also demanding game but you can make it run at 400FPS if you use lowest IR
Metroid Prime on Intel HD 630

Is it the scene where you first go in the castle and it pans around the room? I'm up to that scene and I have had VERY little issues with the game running a constant 30 FPS. There's a dip here and there but during certain loading or stuff but I think that's the game. I stopped playing after that scene though because it was more like 2 hours than 1. I enjoy the game but I was playing to get to that lol.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to set it to 60 FPS? I only see speed limit which also increases the game speed.

I'm playing on these settings:

3 x native resolution
4 x MSAA
Vulkan just for giggles.
EFB to RAM

EDIT:

Also, I plan on doing some more testing with the other games asked for tomorrow. I work a lot of hours and don't have a lot of free time.
It's a 30FPS game , same as Xenoblade and Zelda games . So if your CPU can run it well without any lag then it's safe to say R7 @ 3.8GHz is fast enough for demanding games , congrats Smile
You do know that there's no need to run the Last Story with efb to ram, right? You can turn off efb to ram on the fly with a hotkey, after the clothes are loaded. Or you can use the old build with a speedhack:
https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-the-last-story-speedhack
which just enables efb to ram for the clothes.

Or you can use that popular fork of Dolphin, which has the speedhack included as an option. (at least as far as i know it does)
That sounds like a pain to me (switch back and forth) . I never use that speed hack and old Dolphin build is out of the question , latest Dolphin has Vulkan,DX12 and many more eye candy stuffs
