Have you seen the compatibility list?

Odds are it worked worse with passthrough. Also it's not really overcomplicated. There are plans to mass produce just the module

Next we're going to make some changes to the design, primarily giving it a USB A connector, moving some components and make some adjustments for a 3D printed casing. Then we will get a quote from an automated assembly partner and we can hold a fundraiser to see if there is enough interest to produce a large batch.
I already have a sensor bar without problems and a bluetooth that is mostly perfect except for pairings.

You clearly misunderstood. Im talking about the new dolphin bar plus, which will release in the near future with bluetooth passtrough. And if u had a dolphin bar you would know it will be the definitive device for dolphin

I'm talking about if they made the original work by flashing new firmware it probably wouldn't work as well. It will probably be the perfect plug and play (assuming adapter is wii's or the one that scored the same as it). I already have a sensor bar that works fine and with switch coming up I'm probably not spending more than $10 anyway. If it's Bluetooth is subpar to the Wii BT module it won't be definitive though.

I don't know what you are talking about anymore dude... i think you misunderstood everything, but whatever, youre the best, and youre sensor bar is the best solution ever. Take care

It will almost definitely be the simplest. If they don't use original BT module for whatever reason it will only be good, not definitive. That was my point.
I wasn't letting you wave me off without last words

I have a Dolphinbar but I find Bluetooth passthrough definitely superior. However, my Dolphinbar has an updated firmware and switches off when no wiimote is connected. Do you have any idea how I can have the IR leds always on? I tried to downgrade the firmware but it didn't work...
