A laptop (avell.com.br/titanium-w1513-iron) equipped with i5 7300HQ and GTX 1050 is enough to play NGC and Wii in dolphin? (games: Super Smash Bros.  Brawl, Mario Kart and Monster Hunter series)

The i7 would bring some advantage?

Yes , if it's configured properly (Power saving mode must be disabled, Cpu must run at 3.0GHz or higher speed all the time...etc )

The i7 7700HQ run at higher clock therefore it's faster

notebookcheck Wrote:i5 7300HQ run at 2.5 - 3.5 GHz (4 cores up to 3.1, 2 cores up to 3.3 GHz)
On the other hand , i7 7700HQ can run at 3.6GHz(Max Dual Core Turbo) and can be OCed up to 3.8GHz via Intel XTU (i5 can not be OCed)

Thanks. I'm considering buying the laptop. but I worry about the temperature of the components while the emulator runs... Undecided
Laptop with dual fan cooling solution will not overheat unless they pack it with GTX 1070 or a desktop CPU
Sometimes the manufacturer is forgetful enough to leave a tape between the GPU and GPU heatpipe , I saw that on notebookreview-forum , his GPU hit 99 degree Celsius immediately . They did not do that on purpose of course , it's just a luck of a draw , the one who make your laptop is human after all
Well , if your laptop has a removable backplate like mine , you can fix it easily by reapplying thermal compound...
