Look into using Throttlestop to keep the i7 at maximum turbo speed.
We recommend not to try and force settings beyond the power management in the driver settings, as it can cause issues.
I've been able to decrease my speed with Throttlestop, but not increase it.

With the default multiplier of 26, I get about 3100 MHz.
If I increase it to 35T (the max), the CPU speed goes up maybe 50-100 MHz.

I dunno what's good for benchmarking but on certain F-Zero GX stages I still occasionally get 50 fps. So close, yet so far Tongue
