If i had to guess you have multiple [Wii] files and that probably doesn't work
Hi, no, thats not the problem.

I deleted every other input on game.ini and still the same.

It´s a dolphin thing/bug. 4.3 on wii setting tab menu doesnt give the same result than using widescreen = false.

Just launch mario party 8 and go to the game board part, you will see the colored bars on left and right using widescreen = false. So, it´s crearly running at 16.9.

Im thinking that wii settings tab aspect rate 16.9 cannot be overriden by widescreen = false.
Now that you mentioned it, I have a vague memory of this per-game widescreen setting not working even though it's supposed to. I'm not sure why it's like that.
Hi. Thanks, at least is some kind of know thing...

That´s good, I been trying to report this some time ago, but since I dont speak english, is a little hard to explain.

Hope it can get somehow fixed or changed. It´s handy for some games.

If you need some test, just ask.
Mario Party 8 PAL already has a Widescreen code on the Wiki.
Hi. Thanks, but not the point of the problem.

And btw, to make that code Works, you have to set wii dolphin settings at 4.3, which will affect all games, cause widescreen = false per game doesnt work on dolphin.
@JosJuice. Do you think we can open a PR to get this sorted out?

Thanks

Thanks

Someone would need to figure out a solution first.
Hi. But if I change to 4.3 as on the first post, works fine.

So the solution could be correctly link widescreen = false to 4.3 on wii tab settings?

That's the goal, but it's not a solution for how to get to the goal.
