Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

What kind of performance can I expect from my PC while playing gamecube games at native resolution?  What about wii games?  If I were to upgrade my system, would I be better off getting a new gpu or cpu?

you should be able to play a majority of games fine. Some harder to emulate games may give you slowdowns. Use Vulkan or Direct3D 11 for the graphics backend since you're on AMD. With that GPU you can play games in higher resolutions without issue
