Just curious if this would work decently on a laptop. My computer does ok, but I really didn't buy it for gaming so it doesnt have the best processor and video card. basically what I am wanting is to buy a laptop capable of playing this very well that I can hook up to my HDTV. I am looking at:

Dell Studio XPS
Intel core i7 1.6ghz, 2.8 turbo mode
windows 7
4 gb ram
ati radeon 4670 1gb

then just plug it in to the tv via hdmi. let me know what you guys think, thanks.
The Processor is too weak

That's a good gaming system. (Quad Core)
But dolphin will destroy it.
Also, the possibility of overclocking is out the window (Laptop)
Good Luck.
what? The processor is fine. A clarksfield class cpu/nehalem is fine. A e5XXX that runs most games fine would get crushed by the i7.
Not that weak, if it goes turbo mode it will do fine.
Of course, i'd find a good way to cool that laptop before even running Dolphin.
what? that cpu is great for dolphin... i mean sure the 1.6ghz isnt that great on an i7 even but still... in "turbo" mode you could get fantastic speeds if you cool it good enough
