Hello I am using Rawdump and it's saying I have a faulty drive and I bought one that should work if u have a fix let me know ASAP
What model number is the drive that you are using? There are only a few listed compatible ones (http://www.gc-forever.com/wiki/index.php?title=RawDump):
LG GDR-8161b
Hitachi LG GDR-8162b
Hitachi LG GDR-8163b
Hitachi LG GDR-8164b
Also make sure that you are using the latest version (2.1) available here: http://www.gc-forever.com/forums/download/file.php?id=478

Also an alternative that you can try is FriiDump, which may work better: https://github.com/bradenmcd/friidump
I have a GDR8082 which is said to work just fine and I checked on the guide on forums apologies for rudeness but f*ck rawdump
Bumping also if that works with friidump let me know ASSP
BUMP again
You can stop bumping. Sometimes people just don't know about a solution, especially since RawDump is hardly used around here these days.

Anyway, are you using the latest version of RawDump? If I recall correctly, 2.1 was the last version released. That may or may not make a difference, but it's worth trying.
Both Rawdump and Friidump are very picky. Try changing the order of plugging in the drive, inserting the disc, and starting Rawdump. If it doesn't work, you generally have to remove the disc, unplug the drive, and close Rawdump before you can try again. In some cases you have to restart the whole PC after Friidump crashes in order to make it recognise the drive again. It's not a very user friendly process.
I used version 2.1 which is the best the reason why I bump is so I can tell u guys that this is important also my exact model number is HL-DT-STDVD-ROM GDR8082NOC07 also if there is a better solution to getting games on my PC let me know I used to have a wii but now I don't
The casual Bump
Like Shonumi said, please stop bumping. It won't attract more knowledgeable people, it'll just make people annoyed.
