It does have an effect on the 3/4 an action camera, but kinda think its better than it was by default, not worse. So we might probably leave it as is? I personally play on the side camera only anyway.
Great! We get really lucky lol. Don't forget to mess mess with the 800018XX values I listed earlier, when you have time.

For now, the faceoff camera stuff is mainly just for parametric sidecam use.

Sure! I'm looking forward to play with it, but rather wait when I can get to the proper setup with tv, which will be on Monday.

Would love to really tweak the side view so that the back of the 2d crowd don't get in the way. Or at least very rarely. Let's see if that's possible. But there are parts where the view is too much on the sides and/or pan down, unnecessary. So ya, will see how it goes!
Ok it may need more conditionals to just edit left/right side stuff, but I think that's doable if we can find good settings.
Great! I'm so excited that I cant sleep hah, it's almost 4 o'clock in the morning here.
I'm still thinking how to make that "random" cut from our side view to zoomed camera during the regular gameplay work. If you say it cant be done by a time algorithm... but you say you can track the position of the puck. Hmm and what if we program few points on the ice and whenever the puck crosses that point the camera cuts to the zoom view for a few frames or seconds and then back?
I mean if we make these points (or circles) small/big enough and far from each other it might actually make that illusion that it's organic and not pre-programmed?
Hard to say really. It could hurt gameplay if it makes it harder for the player to see what's happening. Maybe you can adjust zoom values to what it would look like, but it'd be on all the time of course, and we could see. If 80001824 = 0 then 1828 should become a constant zoom value.
Yeah, it would be definitely challenging at times, I know. So the key would be to make it really short (like 2-3 sec) and then cut back. That's how it is in the real world anyway.

I'll try what you say and see how it feels...
These side camra.values I should change directly in the gecko codes?
I don't these suggested lines ( 80001824) in the $Side Position via parametric Puck or SideView Zoom via parametric + Faceoff

Edit: I can probably change the values using this AR?

Ah sorry, it starts with 04 not 80. If you want to roll them into an AR:
Run the gecko codes,
then during gameplay turn off ALL gecko codes,
then run the AR code.

OR delete those lines from the gecko codes, put them in AR and run them all together.
Ah, that explains it Smile
I think I just use the Gecko...
Thanks!
