Umm you're supposed to just set it up for the faceoff when the puck drops, before it becomes the game cam.
Hmm I'm not sure why panning broke, I'll check it.
/edit Oh wait, do you mean side locations where the puck drops? I'm sorry. I need you to set it up for the center location puck drops, then I can adjust it to side locations.
Sorry made mistake! Its the second line that is just zoom too.
The 1st and 3rd line works as expected...

Alright, understood! [/color]
edit: I'll try to restart the game if it's not something on my side...
edit:
yeah, the vertical line is not working correctly.
Ok I just noticed you can't do a perfect top-down camera like I was hoping for. The second line set to 0 gives us a vertical face-off though.
It looks like we could use sideview settings for the face-off too, which should make things work out. I could also poke around more and look for more settings that enable top-down to work.
How does this look? Would finding a way to rotate 180 degrees be good?

/edit if this looks really weird or wrong, post a pic.
well, it would be absolutely fantastic if we could make the top-down work. But then we have to make sure the is no transition from this to the side view camera. It is crucial that it is raw cut, otherwise, it won't make sense physically in the real world

Also the top-down view is used ONLY at the center of the ice faceoffs, not on the sides.
Testing your new code...
Oh, If you don't want it used on the sides, that's a little troublesome, but I can probably make it happen. What is the ideal camera for the side face-offs? Sideview?
Sorry we haven't been on the same page today!
haha, I'm sure it will look awesome at the end, I'm sorry as well!
Actually, for the side views in the real world they usually use some of the cameras that are in that preset, that is running on the background OR they just use our side camera, but really zoomed in and then as the puck drops they zoom out into our already finished side view. So that might be actually little advantage for us, to use that transition that is already there?
Yeah, I really wish we could keep the top-down camera for the center faceoffs because it looks beautiful. But again, it wouldn't make sense on the sides, there is nowhere to place the camera in the real world on the sides spots... So I think we should make it really flawless when we spent so much time on it already

This looks good! We just need to make it zoom more (around 120 value) and make it really 180 degrees as you said, its still little tilt right now, isn't it?[/color]
Ok new try, replace the short gecko puck drop camera code with this new one and keep using the other two.

Check if the correct team is on the left/right in comparison to sideview camera left/right. Zoom vs Distance should be played with. I think lower zoom values is probably better.
very nice! Yeah, teams should be reversed tho

And some more zoom.
Tuning the values now...
$AR adjust
04342198 42000000 //vert tilt This I put on 0.1
0434219c 446d8000 //vert distance This is another zoom I think
043421a0 42000000 //Zoom This I put on 140
043421a4 44d00000 //Vert rotation This is not working.
and here is the code:
04342198 3DCCCCCD
0434219C 446D8000
043421A0 430C0000
043421A4 44D00000
We just need to put it precisely on the center and as you said, swap the teams sides. Otherwise its perfect, I think. I need to correct some textures tho, with such a detail!

Check out the video, I use the real-world game as the reference:

Oh that's cool. More zoomed in than I thought it would be, but looks good. Does it control and transition okay?
Swapping sides it being a little difficult. I'll keep at it.
