So ya, they do all kinds of stuff. It all depends on what's going on ice or even during the season. The crowd should have team specific jerseys and flags.
And not only that, arena should be completely in 3d. With cameras and many details. Right now there are many objects really dumped down, so ty are only 2d images.
Which looks pretty bad, especially from side.

Originally I thought that they just used completely different "basic" models for arena so there's not much we can do about it. But after I saw what you could do with the benches on sides just with Lod code, I believe the same is possible with the other areas of the arena. Because the textures are there. The game just uses them as 2d flat images right now.

The LOD bench fix was possible because the models were there. There's no guarantee the code is able to link to 3D models that are never loaded normally. I can see areas in the code where they likely hacked things together to cut features, and if they completely replace the references to something, then it's lost (to me). Sadly.

Well, even if the crowd wasn't completely frozen (static) during the actual gameplay, even just that would help the immersion a lot.

Here I uploaded save that will teleport you directly to the frame in that replay, where the 3 1st row behind the ice is in 3d and the crowd is moving (animate). Might it help direct you to the right code, possible?

I don't think so. I'll need to put it off for now, as Xenoblade is still not done. I'll just focus on the basic LOD code, since that's doable.

Just a quick thing I found, not sure if it means anything, but if I check "store efb copies to texture only" in the hack tab half of the crowd disappear.
Even some seats are gone..
