...as for the puck, the dimensions are correct unless you start playing with the puck. Then the dimensions start to fall apart.
Interestingly enough, when you LT move with the modded puck, it won't loose the shape. It must happen probably when the puck starts to wobble.

The game might be hard programmed to only 3D the first row, unless there's some instance of more than that becoming 3D. As you might expect, it takes one crowd asset at a time and applies it to each spot it wants it to populate. The 3D crowd may not have the math to select other row locations. I would have to try to hijack the 2D math population code, but that's a very long shot.

I see it actually depends on the arena. In some like Bell Centre in Montreal, there are 3 rows, in Boston 1 row and for example in United Centre in Chicago or Madison Square Garden there is no 3d crowd at all.
I do believe that our problem is that there is some ugly LOD on the arenas as a whole. When I work on the arena textures I see some of them don't fit on the models correctly. There are some textures that missing in the arena completely, but they are dumped. Many of the objects in the arena are forced to be in 2d and I know from the Xbox version that these objects are modeled in 3d.
Also when I look at the size of the ISO, it is around 4.6 GB, which is not very different from the full-featured Xbox 360 version. The difference might be just the compressed audio and textures, but everything else seems to be on the disc in my opinion.
One thing I know for sure tho, if not you, none can solve this puzzle
