holy puck that is awesome! Big Grin
I think you almost nailed it with that last code. I will play with it little, but its pretty close.

As you said, we just need to make the transition from acceleration to full skating smoother.

edit: you accidentally made the puck pickups little looser/harder which is great too!
So I ended with the value 0.7, which is this code:

$Accel Changeable
C2AFDB9C 00000003
3D608000 C00B1810
C03F0024 EC210032
60000000 00000000
04001810 3f333333 //Speed Multiplier

Aw man, does the shooting feels right now! You find pure gold with this code Smile
I'm really glad you like that code. It's been a little difficult finding other good codes. I'll have to figure out how the make the acceleration smooth next. Can you see how many different stages of speed there are when accelerating? It seems to be a constant towards the end of the animation at least.
So I played a full game, tried some different variations, at the end put the values to the extreme again, to really see what is actually affected and how.
And I think there are just 2 "groups" of animations in the game that are affected by different speed sliders/codes.

You found the one that affects accelerations, shots, pass, hit, off play faceoffs stuff and probably some other things.
Now what we probably need is to find that second group that affects full skating speed, gliding, players skating to the benches and probably some other stuff too.

This is that "2nd group"

If we slow this other group too, this might as well help with smoother transitions, what do you think?

I think the easiest way to find this is just skate in circles holding LT. There is short acceleration animation from our 1st already slowed group and after that player just floats in circles like crazy Smile
After that, we can look and decide if we need that even smoother or if it's already fine like that?

There is an issue tho, that code affects only one team, but that's something you want look at later probably?

There should be 4 stages I think.
acceleration- glide- skate- top speed (sprint)
I think I know how to apply it to all players. I'll see if I can find the second speed modification stuff. Skating in circles is probably a good idea.
This is probably way too early in the code to change speed, but it'll give you something to play with. Same as before, change 3f000000. May not work with other codes I've made (besides the other accel mod). May affect the the accel mod making it slower?
$Max speed
C2C7C824 00000002
3D808000 C04C1824
EC5E00B2 00000000
04001824 3f000000 //Speed float
Sounds good!
testing now....
So using the code right away, without any changes changed the speed!
It also changed the speed of the puck physics. I don't think it affected the accel mod, probably not.

So we would need to be able to control the speed the sideskateing (LT gliding) separately. Because we need to remain the puck physics untouched. Also, the top speed needs to be much faster than gliding to the sides...
