Yes. I'm not sure if I can entirely fix it, because it's tied to smooth movement code. You can see if this makes it any better.

well, if we wanna be really fancy this is how the faceoff cam should look. This is pretty much how it looks in the real hockey game.

So ideally If you could somehow change this for that spin zoom thing that it does?
But ya, I don't know if its possible

that didnt change it on my side.
But here is an idea.. what if you make that switch to our side view little
later, just after that spin would end, which is after the puck drop on the ice? That might fix that, what do you think?
Is that just freecam in the video?
Yes. Its captured from replay, using zoom from freecam.
This short sequence should be actually static, not following the puck, just slowly zooming in.
I not sure how much better this might be for the camera spinning. I don't think I can do anything about the zoom. Just replace the position code with it.

Would have to find a memory value that signifies when the puck is being dropped, to mess with the camera at that time. I think it'd be hard to do. I'll probably take a break from working on this game after taking one more look at 3D crowds. We've made good progress.
Totally understand, you need to take some break. You deserve it

Game looking already very different from when we started. Very nice progress indeed.
So should I use this Gecko in combination with the other codes?
Use it with sideview zoom, just like the other code I posted.
..unfortunately, didn't fix the faceoffs glitch.
now, this is interesting!
It looks like the issue is caused because we switch to the side view little too late.

There is still the default parametric cam in action when that spin glitch happens.
It is obvious as I go to the actual camera option. The cam switch to our new side view aright after the puck drops, it should switch as the cutscene ends, little sooner.
