Sure!
I just have to wait a little when my bosses are out haha. I'm still at work right now.
Hopefully they'll go home in about an hour, so I can start my notebook with the game Smile
Finally can start testing!
So do you want me to try all these codes separately during gameplay, is that correct?
So I tried the codes one after another. Unfortunately these did nothing to the game..
Oops, sorry. It's one single gecko code. Do you know how to input it? Right click game in dolphin menu - properties - edit game config, add the [Gecko] tag if it isn't there, add the whole code including the $title below the tag. Save/close then enable.
Worked worked worked!

There's just one funny glitch haha. One player has his face all over the place:

lol I don't even know. I'll figure that out. How are all the other players and the ones in the sideline box?

Also, how is the performance? I think turning off LOD might make all the helmets reflective, which could be bad.
Hah, now it's 3 of players with this on face, it is evolving Big Grin

But otherwise.. it's absolutely gorgeous! In sideline not only they look great, but they even animate! Amazing job.

Now only if the crowd won't look that bad.

As far as the helmets.. I haven't noticed anything different, but I'll look at it again. Do you think you could turn them off completely wit the code? That would be neat. Like in the old days, hockey was played! Smile

Awesome stuff man, so exciting times!
Actually as I think about it isn't the crowd this flat and dead only because there's some LOD applied on them? I mean the same principal as with the sidelines.

Those benches were just dead images and now without LOD they do all kinds of animations. I know from the devs that the game was originally developed for the next console and PC and at final dumped down so Wii could handle it.

So maybe if we can turn off all these ugly Lods, we could unleash whole different game haha.
As for the performance.. ya, there's little hit, but nothing terrible. Definitely worthy the visual improvement!
I deleted helmets while searching the code and there were no heads under them, so probably can't do that lol.

What you said about the devs decreasing stuff at the end is really interesting. I'll play with the code with that in mind. Does the crowd ever become 3d regularly? Do you know if they have 3d game files?

/edit
I didn't fix the bug (or even see it yet), but I rewrote the code in a way you can play with it. Use Both Codes at once, no other previous code I posted.

Ok, for this you can increase/decrease the 3020C to change the LOD effects. Some might just break things, but I think 30004 is Medium LOD, for example. I think just increase/decrease the three non-zero values by one step at a time and see what happens. No need to reload the game, just re-save the code in the code manager. 4020C Removes heads, and let's you test the performance impact of them.
