The good AR code is the one we've been using to get better graphics, but has lag. Sometimes it needs to be enabled alongside a second test code.

I'm glad you got it working, I won't need to focus on helmets, but I can see if I can lower the quality of the bench still.

Also, did you try config -> cpu override -> 130% cpu overclock? To decrease lag? I forget.
Ah, I understand.

I actually play a lot with the CPU slider. I think I get the best results on 68%.
I'll definitely try that value you're suggesting as well!

I was thinking about if that guy that sitting in the middle of the ice during the intros don't cause this lag? Yes, he is not visible after that during the match, but maybe the game still renders him (even if is not visible)? So this extra player might be too much..

I don't know, if it's even possible, just an idea Smile
Probably not, but if you want to help me find him in the code, change the 6084020C by setting one value to zero (or just lower it if that breaks the game) then load an intro and see if the guy is still there. So try like 60840200 then try 6084000C, then 6080020C. If I know which value causes the bug it's not as hard finding it.
Definitely! Thanks.
Damn it, tried probably every possible combination, but didn't worked on my side Sad
So using just the AR won't cause the intro glitch 048170C8 50000000.
Still testing..
I think what is really interesting that even that intro... with just this one guy sitting on ice in intro the fps drops from 60 to 30. Yes, without this glitch the intro running at 60. I really hate that guy now haha Smile
Hmm thanks for looking. Even finding nothing helps me out.
@onemoretry: not sure if this info might take you somewhere, but when the game score is even and the game goes to the overtime, which is 4 on 4 (instead of 5vs5 in the regular game) that one extra player is standing again in the center of the ice.
He has no physics, just a ghost, but the game render him.

So my theory is that some players (or objects) are present at the center of the ice whole time. So it's not the benches, but these were Xtra objects that causing the lag. The center ice is basically at the same place as benches, so that what confused us probably Smile
Another reason why I think it's not the benches is that on that intro is the biggest lag. It dropped from 60 to around 22-25 fps.
When you look at the center of the ice during the intro, it's not only one extra goalie, but actually 2 or more players there on the same spot.

So I think whenever the very center of the ice gets in the view of camera (intro, gameplay, offplay) it just have to render some extra objects and fps drops down significantly.

I'm curious what's your thoughts about that..
You're probably on the right track. The next time I take a crack at the game, I'll work on that center ice issue. I've been trying to get a video or two out about debugging dolphin, so have put this game on hold for a bit.
