So we've got basically just one code that affects only the speed (not the animation) and it is this one:

04001830 3f400000 //MOTION MODEL 0.86, 0.85, 0.81, 0.78, 0.76, 0.78, 0.76, 0.75

The problem is it affects all the movement and also the puck physics. As the speed of shots, passes, dumping, deflections etc. Which is great too, we needed to slow these things too. It is just that for more precise tuning, we would need these things separately.

Yes, there is an all-around speed dedicated speed slider in the options menu. Also, every skater has a dedicated speed stat. The problem is that it affects all the movement, so again, not usable for fine tuning Smile
mmh I wonder if I could tweak acceleration to stop before it hits max speed? Do we have a specific acceleration code for something we want to limit the max speed for?
Do you mean to make the acceleration shorter?
We have that great dynamic acceleration code that starts slow and gains speed towards the end if animation if that's what you think.

Not 100% sure what you mean, but we don't have anything other for the max speed other than this Motion model code. That is one of the things it affects.
Also, I think I was wrong about the "speed slider" in the options menu. It is called "Skating speed" and I think the only thing it affects is the max speed. So it has no effect on the cruising speed.

If you agree, I think we should leave the speed for now (maybe get back when better tools are available) and move on to some other things and ideas?

With the next release coming closer I'm about to start to work on some "cinematic" videos/trailers to show some improvements we made from the last release. So it would be really great if we have the DOF fixed before I start to capture footage like this.
What do you think? DOF looks great on default resolution (I think its 480p?), but the higher you get, the worse it looks Sad On 4K the ghost effect is really noticeable, unfortunately.

Hi man, if you feel like in the mood for the simulator here is another great area where we could improve the game tremendously!

Fixing the collision detection
Here the character with the puck skates thru the other player legs. He should lose control of the puck, of course.
The same issue is happening to AI.
