Now with Win7 I am seeing higher performance, but it's not a quite fair compare either, since my Win7 is 64-bit while Vista is 32-bit. Most new features are basically annoying though, untill you get used to them
(like dragging a window to the top of the screen activates fullscreen, did it unintentioanlly all the time at first)
EDIT: This was my post nr. 666 yay

You were using 32-bit Vista? Why?
Anyway, i allso recomend Win7 but in case of OS i prefere to wait until first SP.
I think KHRZ, recieved his computer as a gift.
From his grandfather (i believe)
He was happy with it and didn't bother to swap out the os, till the release of 7.

x32 bit is worth the money anyhow.
You wouldn't get xp x64 would you
Ummmm, i was acctualy using XP64 for a few years. I belived that it would really bring up some kind of revolution. At a time it didn't matter that my printer is not working. While it was not huge jump as i was expected in the end i was satisfied that few x64 native software acctualy worked at least 30% faster, and that viruses didn't work on x64. I guess that when everyone switch on 64-bit that will be covered too.
