This is just a little project i did as the character selection screen in game has some really bad texture issues, same with the A,B buttons and Arrows, 
the flame effect that comes out of the exhaust in title screen, smoke effects etc, i have done my best to fix them.
Some of the writing ingame had thin black and white marks between and around letters so iv tried my best to fix that too.

I have made All Characters/Faces and Cars on the selection screen higher quality now, also fixed the Crowd in the main menu and in the stadium ingame, fixed CNK coins too, 
I will be doing other random texture fixes but wont put pictures up as there would be too many pics.


Issues
There are some textures ingame that are impossible to fix, like apple texture overlapping next to the missile, so when ingame and you have missile weapon you see on the right a thin red/yellow line (thats the apple texture), its the way this game reads textures and is an emulator problem that needs a fix.

Please look at comparison images below for few samples of changes, il do some comparisons in later posts, so feel free to check them out aswell.

To install Download the Rar folder and extract the folder (GCNE7D) into Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Load\Textures.
Or if your portable put into User\Load\Textures.

Also make sure under graphics tab then advanced tab that you have ticked Load custom textures and Prefetch Custom Textures.

Hope somebody likes this, i know is not HD but its the best i could do for this game 
My aim was to bring it to the Ps2 standard as that version was/looked the best, and now iv added/fixed a few textures/bugs that were even in the Ps2 version

well as i put in the changes so far (Fixed the black and white character images in Multiplayer)

I didnt notice them till now, this texture fixes pack was just a small hobby to me as i love crash bandicoot (cant wait for the remasters)

Also i made a topic over a year ago but couldnt edit the page anymore to update details so deleted it and made new one

Fixed the select border around characters, check first post Screenshots.

Fixed all arrows ingame (previous ones i did didnt look right for this game)
Fixed weapons setup screen icons thats under multiplayer battle and races (coloured and black and white icons fixed)
Also redone the characters images on character select screens as some shown slight white lines around them (now fixed)

If people aint happy with the work iv done with this game then feel free to add your work to this topic for this game, you can even use the work iv done if you want, im not fussed tbh 

My aim wasnt/isnt to make a Full Hd project redoing every texture but more to fix the bad quality textures thats in this game, some were very pixelated while others were just a mess compared to the Ps2 version, as i said before there are some textures that cant be fixed due to the way some textures are read from the emulator (they slightly overlap)

Hope for what iv tried people enjoy the game abit more now

Added XBOX ONE CONTROLLER IMAGE AND BUTTONS, iv made it optional download incase you dont want them, simple just copy and overwrite, check images added to first post.

Also tweaked a few textures for Main Download link so best to re-download

Iv also updated my SCREENSHOTS that are in first post so feel free to take a look
