If you're using File > Open, then that could be the reason behind the "failed to grab 1GB of memory" error..
Try to add the folder which contains the game to Dolphin using the "Browse" button.

it dosen't matter if i use file>open, or add folders for the program to browse through. i still get the same error message.

also, i've changed the virtual memory sizes >> 2100mb [minimum] and 3000mb [max], and i still got the same result.
it might have to do with my service pack.

EDIT: i changed the paging fields to 1534mb[min] and 3048mb[max]. i still get the same result -_-
