No , it's even worse . Core M3 , M5 and M7 are not Core i3 , i5 and i7
Normal CPU : Core i5 6300HQ , Core i7 6700HQ , Core i7 4700MQ , Core i5 4200H , Core i5 4300M ....
Cutdown version (ultra low voltage) : Core i5 6200U , Core i7 7500U ....
Cutdown even more (for tablet or low end laptop that almost has no fan) : Core M3 7Y30 , Core M5 , Core M7 , Atom X7 Z8300 , Celeron N2807 ...

I also thought Intel HD 4600 would be fine for dolphin as long as the CPU (i5 4300M @ 3.3GHz) is fast enough but apparently it is not fine at all . Intel HD sucks :/ , I couldn't use anything higher than 2xIR and I had to lower the resolution to the lowest (1xIR) for games like SMG , Mario Kart Wii and even so it's still not fast enough
I wasted $400 for nothing :/
Lesson learned , never buy a laptop that has Intel GPU
Ah, that's really crappy

Lets hope the same doesn't happen to me :')
With the Dell 7559, will I be able to run most games at full speed? Also will I need to worry about overclocking or anything, or will it do fine without it?

Good information to know, thank you. That being said, do you think a fan replacement would be necessary with the laptop already recommended?

Which one ? If it's the Dell 7559 , you won't need to do that . As it's a true gaming laptop that has 3 heatsinks and 2 fans ...
And why would you need to replace fan for a certain laptop ? That won't make your laptop run cooler as your replacement is almost the same as the original fan
If you want to make a non-gaming laptop run cooler , rather than replacing the fan , you should modify the case and add more fan . I did that , my laptop has 3 fans in total and it can be OC-ed to 3.6GHz
My CPU could go up to 4.2GHz if I flashed the bios but it's too risky to do that

You can't overclock a laptop anyway. Most manufacturers forbid that
All you can do is to make sure your laptop run at maximum clock speed as possible

Without doing this , your laptop will run like crap even if you have $3000 gaming laptop

Well, as I said before, I know some basics. I honestly don't/didn't know much about fans/cooling, but with what you just told me that paints a clearer picture. That being said, how would I make it run at maximum clock speed? Are there certain settings I need to fiddle with on the laptop, or with dolphin?
Also, I'm leaning very heavily on the 7559

Very glad you commented
If you can find a used one somewhere , I think you should opt for the i7 version (i7 6700HQ)
The i5 6300HQ is fine for most games but it's very likely to be locked at 2.8GHz which is not good for demanding games . The i7 version can go up to 3.3GHz if you force it

I'm more than likely going to be buying from Amazon, and the i7 looks great but is $850 ish meanwhile I found the i5 for $650 ish
What games can't be played with the i5 that I would be able to play with the i7? (sorry if that's a vague question)
Also, how exactly would you "force it" and how would you make a laptop run at maximum clock speed?

Found it, thank you. Now as to the main differences between i5 and i7, can you tell me out of the list of these games where I would see a difference? If not, I'll more than likely make a decision on my own. Either way, thank you thank you thank you, you have helped me a great deal today and I am incredibly grateful!!!
