Hello friends

I have a problem with my (core speed) it's always 1600 MHz even after I changed my old processor with a new one

i had ( core 2 duo @ 2.13 GHz )
now i use ( core 2 duo E7500 @ 2.93 GHz ) and I still have the same problem with my (core speed) still gives me ( 1600 MHz )

my mother board is GIGA BYTE ( GA-965P-DS3 )
RAM 3 GB
graphics card is ( ATI HD 4770 )
processor ( core 2 duo E7500 @ 2.93 GHz )
windows xp 32 bit

is the problem with my mother board or is there any way to get the core speed 2.93 instead of 1600 GHz

thanks and waiting for your answer ...
Try going to BIOS settings of your motherboard (press "Delete" on start up) and see if you can change anything to increase the clocks.
Yes disable Intel speedstep in your BIOS ^^( and something that sais EC1 too , disable it )
