Honestly I think it's really lazy of them that the game runs at 30fps. It's definitely capable of running at 60fps with those graphics; not that the game looks bad or anything, but I don't see ridiculous amounts of geometry or extravagant effects anywhere, and basically every Kirby game before this has run at 60fps, even the 3DS titles. Not that I was super invested in the game in the first place, but unless they actually give us 60fps in an update (which I think is unlikely), I don't see myself getting the game.
I agree 60 FPS would be better, but if it's a solid 30 FPS without drops and/or frame pacing issues (and this seems to be the case, from the direct feed gameplay videos I've seen), it's good enough to me...
I finished the game, and its a really nice game to play though at 30 fps. I wouldn't have noticed the 30 fps if there wasn't the hard switch between 30/60 at the end of every level
at least there'll probably be a 60fps hack sometime when we get a stable-ish emu.

why? its just dolphin in linux :')
I'm surprised Dolphin runs that well on Switch, especially without much optimization apparently. From what i've seen reported online, the Tegra X1 inside the Switch is supposed to be clocked at a significantly lower speed (even docked) than the one in the Shield TV.
Is there a video out yet that shows Dolphin performance on Switch ?

yes. i forgot where but ive seen a video pass by of animal crossing running slowly on the switch. around half speed im guessing (FPS said 24-26 but it was clearly running slower then normal so im guessing animal crossing is 60)

EDIT: i was semi right. animal crossing is 60FPS but its running 40ish. so 2/3th speed

Due to the recent exploit Dolphin now runs on the switch through linux.
