Just read a bit about zelda breath of the wild. So they decided to give it kind of radical changes in somegameplay mechanics, voice actings, Link being right-handed, and even making it a tragedy: seemingly Ganon got his payback after many games being defeated, now Link is amnesic? WTH...
Want to believe it was influenced by recent previous Nintendo president's passing away... (correct me if wrong please...)
Also, DLCs? Do they pretend to sell the game in parts as well?
@MayImilae:
Miss Major, is that you?
Thanks.
@Admin89 So Nvidia has made two products with the same name with a newer architecture for a different revision? Hmm. Well the X1 was already a "revision 2" of Maxwell, since it got new features that weren't in Maxwell desktop GPUs but would later appear in Pascal. Maybe the Switch is an "X1", but with even more Pascal features, possibly even the die shrink?
@ZLRK Yep yep! As for Zelda, we'll see really soon! Especially me, since I have BotW and a Switch preordered. :3
2 test samples and they will ship one that actually works .
For example , this GTX 960M is Revision A2 , oppose to Nvidia GTX 980M (A1)
Both of them have the same GPU architecture ...

I don't think so . I thought Nvidia would play dirty with Nintendo by shipping the X1 for the Switch and keeping X2 for the New Nvidia shield TV (a.k.a Nvidia's console killer) but nope , Shield TV II didn't come with X2 ...
Is there any reason to use X2 on the Switch ? Nvidia don't even care about updating their main product
Because a revision would be more power efficient than the X1, not to mention nvidia doesn't appear to be terribly invested in the shield tv considering how bad their marketing team is at making people care about it.
Also, you're making the assumption that companies don't sign contracts for specialized SoCs that don't make it into other products.

Well, seeing as the game has been in development for years before Iwata's death, I doubt the story took a dark turn because of that. This rough idea has been worked on since Twilight Princess, which was in development since before the Wii existed. Those GameCube Zelda prototype builds that we never got were the ultimate precursor to this game, borrowing from a lot of the storytelling of Twilight Princess (The director said that he is getting to do a lot of the ideas that he just wan't able to do with Twilight Princess).
Also, I got to play it at one of the hands on demos. Let me tell you:

Anyone gonna buy the nintendo switch on the launch? What games do you want more?
Well, i will wait about a year to see what happens and wait for the price to get lower (here in brazil, it costs about the double price of the USA).
I'm realy wanting to play the new Zelda, Mario Odissey and Mario Kart 8 deluxe, since i never had a wii U and only played in a friend's house.
Already pre-ordered, counting down the days until I get it and the Legend of Zelda.
I'll get it on Christmas.
That's what I planned, but there's more announced games than I expected, many cool indie games are going to be released on Switch and I love the idea to be able to play them on TV and everywhere. Maybe I'm gonna buy it sooner.
I wonder how cheap I can get a wii u for.
If you get an 8GB one, I see some listings on Amazon for less than $200. If you really don't want a "used" one, the best thing I saw was a certified refurbished one for a bit under $300.
