Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Ok here is the problem, in recent builds if I try to run OpenGL in any game my Emulator crashes, but if I run Software first then OpenGL it works.


Happing on 4429, newest one that I have and this doesn't a happen is 4115.

Just a minor annoyance but I would like to know what causes it.

where is this software plugin i can't see it in the drop down menu for video plugins

Also I can't use Direct X (In full screen anyway) as it spews out these messages. http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/iss...il?id=1531

it's not in my drop down menu but it's in the actual plugin folder when i change the dolphin config file to use it emulator just crashes then

Well not sure why you can't choose it, I never did anything special to get Software choice, it was just always there.

If anyone else has this problem;

Found out it was something to do with my Wii saves for some odd reason. Even effected Gamecube games.

So just delete them 1 by one untill the problem is gone..
