So what are the exact requirements for pass-through Bluetooth to work?

I have downloaded the latest version of Dolphin (5.0-993) and have a laptop with a built in Bluetooth chip which is the Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® with hardware ID's: USB\VID_8087&PID_07DC&REV_0001
USB\VID_8087&PID_07DC

But every time I try to use pass-through it tells me:
Warning: Failed to open Bluetooth device: LIBUSB_ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED and if I click on OK it will give me the message: Bluetooth passthrough mode is enable, nbut no usable Bluetooth USB device was found. Aborting. and it of course closes the game after I have clicked OK.

So is there something I'm missing and I need to configure something special or is my adapter really not compatible?

I would love to have my Wii MotionPlus INSIDE (it is a -TR one) real Nintendo mote to work with this and have a working speaker for games like "Calling"

Many thanks in advance.
Since you're on Windows, you need to install the libusb/WinUSB driver for your Bluetooth adapter in Zadig.

Refer to https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Bluetooth_Passthrough for more details.
Thanks! It now detects my adaptor, strange thing is that it doesn't always connect (could only connect once with this wiimote) and it's sound is working very erratic.
If your adapter is an Intel 7260 (integrated BT), then don't expect good results, because the adapter can randomly completely stop working. (At least it did for me)

I don't know if it is... but apparently the game "Calling" the speaker is not working properly if at all, even with LLE gotten from a real Wii/cube (I actually don't remember where I exactly got them from, both are my own console's though eating dust since I got a Wii U and Dolphin now). All other games are completely working flawlessly now, for example the Mario (Galaxy) games, on-rail shooters like the Resident Evils (although the Darkside one has Incredible framedrops with the Bluetooth adapter on passthrough, which it doesn't have with the Real Wiimote setting) and the HoTD, Sin and Punishment. So I don't know if it is an issue with the game or just the adapter. In the calling using emulated motes with Speaker data through the main speakers it does work without an issue.
Hi I have a little question about the bluetooth passthrought, I have to pair my wiimote every time I want to use it. Isn't this suposed to be done once ? I use dolphin on htpc without mouse and keyboard and It s inconvenient to have to plug mouse/keyboard, go to controller option/Sync everytime I want to pair my wiimote.

Honestly, I'm curious to know what could be causing it. Unfortunately, I can't reproduce that issue myself nor do I have that game, so I can't do much…
Can I help in any way? I would love to contribute, I have a nice list of games to test a few things for you.

Ok thank for your answer, i just have to wait for the next progress report that should provide a list of tested bluetooth adaptator.
