Whenever I update my dolphin version, Metroid Prime trilogy seems to flicker non stop as soon as I get in-game. This stops after the 2nd time I open the game. But if I ever update Dolphin, the same thing will happen again. Is there any way of fixing it besides running metroid prime a few times and then restarting dolphin?
That sounds similar to the shader cache stutter, which is being worked on.
When you say it flickers, you mean the screen flashes, or the game slows down a bit?
I mean the screen keeps flashing very rapidly but it still runs smooth as silk, just keeps flashing rapidly non-stop the first couple times when I've just updated the emulator.
This ^^, also make sure you aren't overclocking (dolphin).
But the wiki says to run with virtual xfb, otherwise you get a black border.
So am I suppose to run this with XFB off now?
Disable dual core or enable sync GPU.
Wouldn't that slow down a lot?
Yeah but you have a beast CPU. I'm guessing going from high to low hundreds lol.
