I will wait better improve Vulkan.

Blue screen almost always means hardware or driver failure. As far as i know there's a known issue with the latest nvidia drivers, but i don't know what the last working version is.
Been very happy with the DX12 backend lately but tried Vulkan just to see.

Seemed ok framerate wise but I got terrible screen tearing despite v-sync being on. (I have Nvidia 970).
Vulkan support in this emulator is just like the dx12 support. And that is to say: Quite poor. Maybe if the devs would look into how they're both an incredibly unstable mess on AMD's Polaris gpus that could change. But for now that's the only way to describe them both.
Vulkan support is in its infancy, and D3D12 isn't nearly as popular as even the D3D11 backend, let alone the OGL backend, as it only works on one OS that not even that many people like, let alone have development experience with. Feel free to submit a PR to improve D3D12 if you find it so horribly lacking. Wink

Nobody is looking specifically into issues with Polaris because nobody who regularly works on the graphics backends has a polaris card (Most of the Dolphin devs in general are nvidia/intel tbh)

Attempts to fix polaris are either shots in the dark, or working with reasonably development oriented users on polaris that can provide valuble testing feedback. We don't have that either.

The fact that GPU drivers from AMD are generally bad just make that worse...
Their D3D stuff is fine.

Their GL is not.
I think there are a lot more windows 10 users than you may think. Most people on a PC are running Windows, and most windows users are on win10.
Right now 67% of our analytics reporting users are on Windows 10, with the closest being Windows 7 at 16%.

168 reporting users are using Vulkan. 18.7k for OpenGL, and 10k for D3D11/12. (These stats are awkward because we default to OpenGL. If we defaulted to D3D it would swing that way)

barely any users adopt the latest development versions compared to the 22.5k reporting from 5.0 stable, so it could also just be users allergic to dev builds.
BTW, wasn't the analytics data going to be publicly accessible? I vaguely remember something from the blog article but since them everyone remains silent...
