enable the dual core mode in dolphin's settings or else your only using 1 core. And no you can't use more than two cores in dolphin, It's impossible
really the real problem here It's that Dolphin sees 16 cores ( WTF !!! ) . And the quad core in dolphin is possible , but extremely difficult to made and useless
Other than the aforementioned suggestions, does anybody else have an recommendations? Also, when I set the core affinity for dolphin via the task manager to core 0 and 3 the CPU usage goes up to 27% with all eight cores, although it runs better, I thought this wasn't possible?
maybe you are putting your graphic settings to high? maybe you have speedstteping enabled? any background programs?
I have the graphics set to native and I'm not sure what speed steping is...
you have to disable speedstteping (if you have it), directly from your BIOS, it doesnt let you use ALL of your multipliers in your processor, so it runs slower. But i dont know, its a possibility

This is normal. I'm not sure why dolphin thinks the i7 has 16 cores, but it happens on mine as well, and it's not a problem.

I would use Direct3D for MP1 anyways. MP is pretty much perfect in D3D, scanning works, text works, all the options you need are there, and it's much faster than OGL right now.
wish I could play MP at decent speed T_T
D3D won't work for some reason, whenever I try and use that plug-in everything looks fine but right around the point where the Dolby digital logo shows up the screen turns all black and freezes... Maybe there is a setting I'm missing??? Do you have any slow downs when you're playing MP1?
try disabling crossfire. if it works, its a driver issue.
