Hey all,

Used to play it on 2.0 about a year or so ago and it worked with minor bugs until chapter 23 then i got hit by that pesky lvl up freeze. DLed 3.0, spent 10 minutes messing with settings and the error is gone but... Well a picture is worth a thousand words aint it?

Hello, I'm using Dolphin 7468 release, and on Direct X 11 works well.
Only the problem is when I try to run the RD with the PofR save, the emulator shows a corruption error.

Edit: Sorry. My emulator is 7264. It runs almost perfectly.

Yeh, I tried run on 3.0 but I had the same error.
But, try the 7264 version.

When I try to play a new history in RD [Wii] it says there is a save of PR [GC] but is corrupted.
I have tryed many forms to exclude this error, but without chance.
I was playing on Dolphin 7264 the GC game, and try to play the Wii game. Without hope, I download the 7626 to solve the problem, but happen again.
Someone can help me? I search for topics but no one talk to this.
Thanks.

Hello again everyone.
I'm trying to solve this problem, but I can't solve it yet.
So, no one can help me?
I think it is a problem with the compatibility between wii and gc saves.
I already try on the newer emulator, but nothing change.
I just want to pass my GC game save to the Wii game.
Thanks guys.
Hopefully this isn't too late of an answer to it, but as far as I know, Radiant Dawn seems to do that if there is a Easy Mode save file of Path of Radiance in access. The actual copy of Radiant Dawn does this. (I forget if Nintendo solved that problem at some point, but I do know that when it was first released, at least the North American version, this problem annoyed a lot of people)

I only play Path of Radiance in Hard Mode.
Sorry for my english, but I didn't understand what I need to do.
Maybe, is it because my Radiant Dawn copy?
Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately, I can't help with that - I was only aware of the issue that occurs when Radiant Dawn finds a Path of Radiance Easy Mode file.

I don't understand why this issue would arise with a Path of Radiance Hard Mode file. Are Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn the same type? (are they both NTSC or both PAL?) That's the only thing I can think of, that might cause that.
Figure i bump this thread.

Ran Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance all the way to the end, albeit with some issues.

had to switch to OpenGl so the graphics don't look mangled.

Sound would sometimes hiss and crackle, then return to normal. Using LLE made the sounds accurate, but game speed would slow to a crawl.

Game would crash randomly after chapter 11, but after turning dual core speed-up off, it ran without issues (got 25-45fps) until...

...I plugged in a gamepad. It happened on chapter 23 twice. Once I disabled the gamepad it ran normally. Not a deal breaker for me, since this title doesn't need precise controls, keyboard works just fine.

Slow cinematics, but can't be helped because of my setup.

I'm a new Dolphin user, I find it ironic that an older title like this has issues, whereas I can play Muramasa without a hitch, though speed is about 80% on my system. Can't complain though, it is what it is.

My specs:
Dolphin 3.025 dirty
Windows 7 home edition
Intel i5 2.27hgz
4gb shared memory
intel HD graphics
DX9

Hi all I know this is a slightly older thread but I figured I'd try my chances here before I thought about opening up a newer thread for this game.

This had to be one of the few games that I loved for the Game cube. Fire Emblem is what made me want to be on the Game cube for so long and I miss is terribly.

Last time I tried this was with when dolphin 2.0 came out and well the game usually ended up crapping out half way through.

As most I have had several issues with the game that has been previously mentioned mainly: -the black screen while still having fps
-random freezing
-character level issue

So I'm asking what settings were you using when getting the game up along with the version? If anyone can help that would be amazing!!

Note: I am going to try it very soon with Dolphin 3.0-458-dirty and will hopefully will have some luck.

Do not use Dolphin 3.0-458-dirty. I just started playing the game today, and I couldn't even get past the first chapter with it.
