[Image: mario-sonic-olympic-winter-games-01.jpg]

Mario and Sonic come together again, this time taking their rivalry to the snow and ice in another officially licensed Olympic-themed game. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games will take players to Vancouver, Canada, host city of the official 2010 Olympic Winter Games. This gaming experience invites players of all ages and skill sets to face-off in intense winter competitions. The game will take players to lifelike Olympic venues where they can choose from a legendary cast of playable characters, including new faces to the series to be revealed later this year. Players of all skill levels will enjoy the intuitive controls in both single and multiplayer gaming modes. Additionally, one of the new features to be found in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games is the inclusion of the Wii Balance Board which can be used in some events featured in the Wii version, allowing for a more interactive and realistic gaming experience.

Known Problems

Game runs slowly and doesn't seem to recognize Idle Skipping at all. Text has missing letters, even with STC hack enabled.

Overall

Game is playable, I don't know if it will be enjoyable, because it runs slowly on my PC (C2D T9550 2.66Ghz, 4GB RAM, GF9600M GS). Graphics seem to be perfect though, no glitches so far with OpenGL. Controls work perfectly, sound is working very well, but choppy, due to slowness of the game. Status: In Game

Awesome Big Grin But the game looks pretty slow. does it run any better when not recording and using Directx9? Big Grin or is there lots of graphic errors and still slow
As I mentioned above, game doesn't recognize Idle Skipping for some reason and it makes game slow even on fast computers. It would run full speed with Idle Skip I think, because it never ran above or below 10/25 FPS. Btw if you'd look better at my vid, you'll see that I recorded it with D3D.
Uh, why is it everytime I choose go to event my Game gets frozen and stuck on a sound loop?

Game works 100% speed in the Menus so far though.

EDIT: Had Panic Handlers off, with them on I get something like.

"CompliedBlock, shouldn't be here!"

I can push Yes or No both Resulting in a crash anyway.

EDIT 2: And when I start the game I get imm: 807899ec error twice.

EDIT 3: Using DolphinIL when pushing Go to event gives me; "HLE system tried to call an undefined HLE function 267284." Then crashes.

Oh and before anyone asks I'm using build 4478.
IL isn't stable, too bad Sad.
Hope this game will recognize the idle skip sooner or later Big Grin.
I meant at first I used Normal Dolphin.exe which crashes and also DolphinIL.exe that only gives me a error message at the start of a event, but then crashes.

i get the same error. it keeps on saying Imm: 807899ec.
Maybe it's SVN related? (As in Newer ones broke it)

Anyone who got this to work what SVN did you use?

joey1234
