There is only one Wii game that I really want to play (yes, I own a copy) in HD...the legendary Xenoblade, which I have not played yet. To my eternal dismay. But now...today is that day that sin is rectified! It shall be played, and in the highest HD glory!

Ok, enough hyperbole. I am completely new to Dolphin so I have no idea what settings to tweak to get the best performance. I will be running it on a gaming laptop. Here are my specs :

I am using Dolphin 6.0.

Thanks in advance. Any help and information will be appreciated! Oh yes, I also downloaded the HD textures pack.

Since you are using a future version of dolphin I can only assume it will run amazing.
Sorry, meant to say Dolphin 5.0. Recovering from cold, typos abound.
Are you sure you only have an hd 530? It probably has that and a dedicated graphics card too.
What is a HD 530? Sorry, not too good with tech specs, that is why I am here.
Whats the model of your laptop

HD 530, which is an integrated Intel graphics card. Dedicated graphics cards such as from NVidia or AMD often have better performance. Most laptops only have an integrated graphics card. More expensive models may include a dedicated graphics card in addition to the integrated graphics card, in which case you can let Windows choose which GPU to use for which application. It is recommended to use your dedicated graphics card for Dolphin if you happen to have one. Your CPU is quite powerful, so there is the assumption you have a dedicated GPU too.

In fact, the whole GTX 800 series was dedicated for laptops. Graphics cards designed for effective energy usage and laptop usability are marked with a M (for Mobile) and are usually weaker than their non-M variants, such as the 910M. I don't believe yet there is an mobile graphics card in the 1000 series yet. But I guess nothing can prevent a laptop from using a non-M graphics card too.

CPU = Central Processing Unit (Processor, in this case your Intel i7-6700HQ)
GPU = Graphics Processing Unit (Graphics Card, in this case your Intel HD Graphics 530)
Googling the System Model ( N15_17RD) leads me to believe a GTX 960M might be in there.. but, ah, for some reason it's really hard finding an actual spec page. Best I got is a 3DMark bench result
Yes, my graphics card is a 960M. Strange, I thought it should show up in the specs but it didn't. My apologies.

My laptop is an Aftershock, a local brand. https://www.aftershockpc.com/
Is there any other information I can supply? Sorry, not too good at this.
