We have been playing melee using dolphin 5.0 on my computer for the summer, but now that i'm going back to college we can't play. What he was going to do was upgrade his computer to play Netplay. He has ram, hard drives (an ssd), and case. He was planning on getting a gtx 960, but didn't know what processor to get.

The website is down currently, so I can't link you to the FAQ, but basically, any recent Intel CPU will do. Just avoid AMD and ULV Intel CPUs.

(Note that Melee is a pretty lightweight game to emulate, but you probably want something that can handle more than just lightweight games)
