The Note 7 and the s7 are two different devices. Have you tried Dolphin on your Note 7?

Also there is an apparent fix for the issues with the s7 as discussed at the ppsspp forums but there's no developer on the Android side of things that will implement it

My hope is that the hardware improves for smartphones, and NVidia release a new shield tv, and that will hopefully draw in contributors as the android emulator becomes more viable. 'Build it and they will come' and all that.

Because I'm certainly not going to so all I can do is hope. Wink

Avoiding security updates simply because the GPU drivers introduce new issues is not a terribly good idea.
