I try:
Mario Sunshine PAL. I see the M logo, then I get: "Dolphin Emulator has stopped."
Star FoxAdventures I see _Nintendo Logo, then Rare Ware logo, then dolphin sound logo, then it shuts down dolphin emu totally so I need to restart it.
Mario Kart DD. "Dolphin Emulator has stopped." directly.
Star Soldier (Jap). I get to some menu. I don't know what to select. then after a short while, it exists back to dolphin select game screen.
Mega Man 9.wad. I see wiimote disconnect. And it's only black screen. Nothing happens.

Maybe none of these games are supported on the android version right now?

All games have a CROSS on them. Is that correct?

I am using 5.0-466 of dolphin.
I am using 6.0.1 of android OS.

Hey,

Is it the Exynos version? It has a CPU bug so the only way to get it to work is to go to CPU mode and change to Interpreter, load the game then go back to the menu and change the CPU mode back to ARM64 JIT then go back in to the game, you have to do this very quickly so you may have to try a few times, but after that it should work for other games until you close Dolphin. Next time you load Dolphin you'll have to do the trick again.

Good luck!

I don't know what Exynos is. I just have a standard samsung galaxy s7 edge without anything fancy. it's updated to latest software.

This solution you write sounds really insane! Smile
But I don't know. if I press back button, the emulation stops, doesn't it?

There are 2 versions of the S7/S7 Edge: one makes use of an Exynos chip and the other makes use of a Qualcomm (IIRC) chip. There are supposed to be ways to tell the difference, but I don't know what they are :L

I downloaded CPU-Z from google play and I can see I have the Samsung Exynox Octa 8890 2,60 Ghz.

Architecture:
4x Samsung Exynos M1 @ 2,60 GHz
4x ARM Cortex-A53 @ 1,59 Ghz

Revision: r1p1
Process: 14 nm

GPU Vendor: ARM
GPU Renderer: Mali-T880

You definitely need to do the trick then.

1. Open Dolphin
2. Setings > CPU Core > Interpreter
3. Load the game
4. When you see an in-game visual press the back button on your device which will exit the game to Dolphin menu
5. Settings > CPU Core > JIT ARM64 Recompiler
6. Open the game (or another game) and it should work then

As I mentioned you have to so step 5 and 6 very quickly or it won't work. It's worth noting that save states can still be used with this method.

Its also worth noting that the latest GPU drivers v1.r12p1 give lots of graphics glitches, (very similar to those that the latest S6 GPU drivers have actually)

The latest drivers arrive in the August security update (BPH6) so you might want to avoid updating to that.

2.6GHz? I don't remember the S7 having that clock speed, do you mean 2.3GHz? Also, 4.0-9075 was the most stable version for the s6 as it fixes most major texture bugs, have you tried playing that build on the S7?
It's a shame that the S7 is having driver issues just like the S6 did.
Best of luck!
2.6ghz is the "turbo" clock and is used when two or more of the cores are idle. The cores run at 2.3ghz otherwise.

Stock is 4 x 2.3 GHz for the big cores but it switches off 2 most of the time and can then run 2 x 2.6 GHz.

I tried build 9075 hoping it might fix the issues with the new driver but I couldn't get it to load any games Confused

this is.. hilariously discouraging lmao. just got my Note 7 in the mail a few days ago, just accepted that update you mentioned today.
root solve any of these problems? what can someone who really really wants to play dolphin on their Exynos note 7 do?
