Running 15 something on Ubuntu 16. Fresh install. Playing Mario party 8 the game will just randomly decide to slow down. It seems to be random because say the same scene plays multiple times, some times it plays smoothly others it's slow and sluggish.
Any idea how to fix that?
What are your graphical settings? Have you checked if it still happens when you lower the internal resolution? (but it seems weird that it works fine sometimes…)

if it's a fresh install you're using Nouveau. Go into the driver settings and select the NVIDIA driver.
