Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hello everyone, as you can see im trying to buy a laptop for general gaming but mostly Dolphin Emulator, do you think these specs will be to run most of Dolphin games at 1080p?

CPU: i7-6700HQ
GPU: GTX 970M
RAM:16GB DDR4 2133MHz
OS: Windows 10 64-bit

The version of Dolphin im gonna be using is 5.0
But will these specs be enough?

Yes , anything as fast as GTX 750 will handle 1080p . Not sure it's a good idea to buy a laptop at this time though

Desktop class GTX 1070 / GTX 1060 will arrive on laptop soon . GTX 1070 is slightly faster than GTX Titan X (Maxwell) , GTX 1060 is on par with GTX 980 while the fastest mobile GPU : GTX 980M is only on par with desktop GTX 960
GTX 1060 will be 3x faster than the current mobile GTX 970M
Pascal is power efficient architecture . I think they will drop mobile GPU soon
